This colourful plaid option from Swagger (Japan) speaks to a very streamlined approach to fashion. I picture a gentleman in a long black overcoat, a button-up oxford and a solid pant. This bright plaid option should be the most significant pop of colour in your ensemble.

PLAID: Miharayasuhiro Spring 2011
Who knew layering the same plaid could look so good? Two shirts (one worn, one tied at the waist), a tailored vest and shorts (that are styled to look more like a skirt) really give us more of an aggressive urban-plaid aesthethic. You’ll notice that this contrasts the subtle pop from Haider Ackermann, but what I have taken from both looks is, if it is a little or a lot, I am loving the inclusion of my favourite pattern in Spring 2011.

I really love the baggy quality of these pants. I think they would be just as successful (if not more) in a solid earth tone. Can we look at the waist for a second? I want the almost paperbag waist – I think a man can pull it off just as well as any woman.
